The Storeroom is the back half of The Rectory building. Shop in front, sleep out back! This unique space has a queen size bed, a freestanding bath, separate bathroom and sitting room. The Churches Yarck are two separate buildings - The Chapel is entirely an accommodation space with kitchenette, The Rectory provides both accommodation at the back (The Storeroom) and a homewares shop at the front of the building. The Please note the shop is not open to the public yet. The space Rich in history the iconic buildings set on over 2000sqm The Chapel and The Rectory sit comfortably next to each other on the main street of Yarck. The Rectory is an inviting space filled with the historic charm of arched windows, timber floors and high vaulted ceilings. Carefully renovated to maintain the history but offer warmth and style to create a homely calm space to relax and enjoy all it has to offer. A gas fire dividing the main shop area (open Fri-Sun 10-4pm) to the accommodation. Whether you are after relaxation, a soak in the clawfoot bath, quiet dinner and downtime or adventure riding the rail trail, skiing at Mt Buller or boating at lake Eildon, hiking or exploring the wineries and local towns The Storeroom is the perfect place to stay amongst it all. Offering a queen size bed and two trundle beds if required. All linen and towels are provided as well as a bar fridge, microwave, toaster & kettle, cutlery and glassware. There is a retreat sitting room area with bifolds on entry opening to the bedroom. There is also an outdoor setting and a bbq on the deck. There is ample parking within the gates of the property. The Main Street boast Bucks bakery, The Yarck Hotel, Giddy Goat cafe, Dindi Naturals and Koala Cherries, the bookstore and more all in easy walking distance. Come and stay, shop and enjoy a little piece of history in boutique style accommodation. Guest access You have access to the whole property. There may be guests staying in The Chapel but you have your own deck area and private entry. Note the shop remains open until 4pm trading days so guests and shop customers will hear shared noise until then. The divider wall is not to the ceiling. Other things to note The Shop at the front of The Rectory accommodation is only open 10-4pm Fri- Sun and public holidays. Guests staying will hear the shop activity until close 4pm (earlier if it is quiet)
