The house is within 15 minutes’ drive of Girraween National Park and the beautiful historic town of Tenterfield. It’s also located on the edge of the Granite Belt region, home to over 50 wineries. Recently renovated, the house still retains its traditional charm with a front porch, high ceilings, and stained glass windows. The space Each bedroom has been thoughtfully styled for comfort and rest, featuring quality mattresses & soft linens. The home sleeps six guests, with two king single beds in the third bedroom, ideal for both adults and children. The kitchen combines rustic charm with modern convenience. It is fully equipped with an oven, stovetop, microwave, fridge/freezer, & pod coffee machine - everything you need to prepare a beautiful meal at home. The pantry is stocked with tea, coffee, and basic cooking staples for your convenience. The bathroom has been tastefully renovated featuring heated lamps and a towel rail for added comfort during cooler months. The living area is warm, inviting, and designed for connection. The 8-seater dining table invites shared meals and games, while the cozy lounges by the fireplace offer a snug space to relax with a movie on Netflix. The fireplace keeps the house toasty through winter, but we’ve also provided extra heaters and blankets just in case. In summer, fans and air conditioning are available to keep things cool and comfortable. For guests needing to work during their stay, the second bedroom includes a desk, lamp, power point, and reliable, unlimited Wi-Fi. Step outside to discover a unique highlight - a freestanding outdoor bath connected to hot water and tucked beneath the open sky, it’s the perfect place to unwind with a glass of local wine under the stars. The sunny front veranda invites you to curl up with a good book from our curated collection, and soak in the slower pace of village life. Just a short stroll away, the historic Wallangarra Train Station offers a glimpse into the charm and simplicity of a bygone era. Other things to note The temperature around the Northern Tablelands & Southern Downs surroundings can change dramatically from day to day.
