Our newly refinished home with breathtaking mountain views. Nestled on a old farm field in a peaceful neighborhood of 10 acre lots, it's the perfect retreat for relaxation and adventure! The space Looking for a relaxing stay in the countryside with gorgeous views? Look no further! Relax in the hot tub while looking out at the distant mountains, enjoy a beautiful sunset in the evening, or gaze up at the stars at night. And these same views can be seen from the kitchen table! The living room, with its comfortable leather couch, big screen TV, a selection of board games, and an arcade machine is the perfect hangout space. The kitchen is equipped with all of the tools needed to whip up a home-cooked meal, or to enjoy your morning coffee. When it is time for bed, the adults can relax in the private bedroom with it's King bed, and the bunk beds in the livingroom are perfect for the kids (or some close friends!) Make our home the place to come and relax after a day our shopping or exploring the nearby Shenandoah mountains and Luray Caverns. Guest access You will have private access to the entire guesthouse. This is located on the second floor above the garage. You will not have access to the garage. Other things to note Our home is ideal for many uses. A retreat for small families or friends looking for a relaxing getaway, small wedding groups, honeymoon, remote work, wine/brewery weekends, hiking trips, Washington D.C. trips, fall leaf viewing, and more! The arcade game is free to use during your stay, it is set to free play! Our home is conveniently located just outside the town of Culpeper, giving you a countryside feel yet close to all amenities. 8 minutes to the Historic Downtown of Culpeper. Minutes to multiple wineries and breweries. Minutes to multiple historic sites. 39 minutes to Shenandoah National Park with Skyline Drive and plenty of hiking spots. 52 minutes to Luray Caverns. About an hour to Washington D.C. and multiple airports. Note: As we are located in a wooded area, you should expect to see critters and bugs. You may even see ladybugs, stinkbugs, and similar harmless bugs inside the home, especially in the spring and fall. We do our best to keep these at bay, however any pests that do show up are not the fault of the owner or cleaners and will not result in a refund. These bugs can be vacuumed up using the vacuum cleaner or carried outside by hand. Do not crush the stinkbugs. While wasps are generally non-aggressive, we recommend admiring them from a distance. If one happens to find its way indoors, you can gently guide it outside by opening a window or door. We use a Ring camera outside above the driveway. Ring cameras are activated by motion and will record video and audio of anyone that walks in front of them. These recordings are saved and can be reviewed and shared with the booking platform. If we believe that the house rules are being violated, we have the ability to access these cameras in real time 24/7 and record video and audio. Use the Hot Tub at your own risk. Follow all posted signs. Supervise children at all times. Do not bring food or glass into the hot tub. We are not responsible for any belongings left behind by guests.
