Sadrametsa Guesthouse with a sauna

Welcome to our small house in Rõuge parish, right in the heart of Võrumaa forests, near the Valga–Võru highway. This completely secluded and private 40 m² guest house is located in the courtyard of a republican farm, on the second floor. The host's house is nearby, but the guest house still offers complete privacy. The house has everything you need for life – comfortable, cozy and in the middle of nature. Come rest, work or just enjoy the view and quiet! The space Private holiday in the middle of nature in Võrumaa Our cottage is located in a completely secluded place, between forests – perfect for those who appreciate peace, privacy and the beauty of nature. It is an old farmyard where you can see both historical and newer buildings. We are gradually restoring the surroundings, maintaining its unique look. If possible, we can also offer a later check-out or an earlier check-in. Please contact us separately to agree on the details. You can leave the car in the parking lot. The lawn path leads to the guest house either in front of or behind the barn. The house has a terrace and the entrance is from the spiral staircase to the second floor. There's a garage under the house. The accommodation includes: spacious kitchen-living room with one wide bed (160 cm) and a fold-out sofa (160 cm), kitchen corner with all the essentials, bathroom with shower. The air heat pump provides heat (or cools in summer). Blackout curtains and mosquito nets make for a good night's sleep. Because we are deep in nature, mosquitoes and midges can occur in summer. Nearby: 100 m away there is a sauna and a 25 m long pond – very nice for swimming, but you can't jump into the water. You can sunbathe on the boat bridge or on the sauna terrace. There is a small playground for children between the house and the pond. The Latvian border is 20 minutes away by car. Rõuge Pesatorn, Paganamaa and Luhasoo hiking trails are 15 minutes away. Nearest shops and places: Varstu (9 km): shop, small village café (open occasionally), low adventure trail and swimming in the lake. Rõuge (15 km): shop, beach, Kunstikuur with a café. Guest access Guests are welcome to move around and explore the entire territory freely. Playground, pond, boat bridge and more are free to use. We don't charge extra for the sauna if you leave it in the same condition as before. You can heat the sauna yourself with wood, the wood is available on site. Please keep the accommodation as well as the entire surroundings clean and leave the garbage in the designated place. Thank you for your understanding! Other things to note We want to emphasize that our accommodation is especially suitable for those who appreciate peace, privacy and being in the middle of nature. In summer, it should be taken into account that mosquitoes and midges can be found near forests and water bodies – this is not a surprise for a nature lover:). In winter and spring, there may be mud in the yard and surroundings, especially in connection with previous excavation work. We recommend bringing rubber boots or other waterproof footwear.
