A vacation on the western side of the Morvan, in the region around Vézelay, Clamecy, and the Canal du Nivernais, offers a unique combination of nature, history, and tranquility, and is also ideal for a multi-purpose vacation. For example, start or end your trip with a stay in Dijon, Paris, or Lyon, and we will ensure a smooth transition to the countryside! The space Level 0: you immediately enter the cozy living room with sitting area and breakfast room with a compact functional open kitchen with extensive inventory. During the fall and winter season, the cozy warmth of the pellet stove embraces you like a cozy blanket, and in summer, the characteristic thick walls keep the house wonderfully cool. The living space flows seamlessly into the harmonious bathroom. Here, the natural light emphasizes the soothing atmosphere created by the unique combination of ecological insulation material, a tactile lime/hemp finish and round shapes in light sand tones. And did we mention that the walk-in shower is spacious enough for two? Level 1 : The stairs take you to the cozy bedroom that is nestled under the ridge of the roof. Ultimate sleeping comfort in a king-size box spring with crackling Vintage Cotton sheets. The four-season down keeps you warm when the nights get longer and colder and feels cool in the summer. For the cocooners we have provided a projector and project wall! The cottage is next to our house, is completely detached and has its own guest garden (300m2) across the narrow country road. Our garden is located at the rear of the two residential houses, so everyone can retreat to the greenery at their own pace and in peace... Other things to note Upon arrival, the king size bed (2x90X200) is already cozy and extra blankets and plenty of bath linen are provided. For the first day(s) there are coffee, teas and sugars waiting for you! In the kitchen you will find pepper & salt, oil & balsamic & vinegar, bay leaf, vegetable stock cubes and kitchen roll, as well as plenty of kitchen textiles. We have installed an ecological water purification system in which reeds and other aquatic plants provide natural water purification. This means that only biodegradable products for kitchen and bathroom can be used. These are ready for you upon arrival (dishwasher, shower gel, hand soap and toilet paper). Of course, you can also choose to bring your own trusted products if they are biodegradable. We provide a large basic stock of pellets according to season and length of stay and 15 kWh/day of electricity. Additional consumption will be charged at 0.27 kWh based on meter readings upon arrival and departure. Extra pellets cost €7.50/15kg Do you have an electric wagon? You can use our 220-V charging point (household outlet) on the property at your own expense.
