Welcome to Smedjan, a modern house in a rural idyll with lake views. There is a fireplace, open floor plan between the kitchen & living room, bedroom with double bed, upstairs with a proper sleeping loft. An oasis for relaxation surrounded by beautiful forests, lakes and horse pastures. A place to enjoy as it is but also a good starting point to discover Sörmland. Check out the photos under "pool" to see what it looks like in August. There will be no work going on when you rent. Just let me know if you have any questions :) 💜 Sleeping places. The upper floor/loft is an open room. See picture of bedroom 2. Here is a large, comfortable 180 cm bed that is two beds put together with a joint protection in between and with a whole 180 cm mattress on top. There is an extra sleeping space, a 90 cm bed in the large hall which is a multifunctional room with sleeping space, play area and laundry room. There is also an extra large mattress on the upper floor/loft that you can use in the place you want in the house. See photos under the category "Sleeping area". 🩵 The stairs to the upper floor/loft can be perceived as a little steep. There is a gate with a hook to close both upstairs and downstairs so no small children can climb up. There is also anti-slip protection on the stairs. 💙 The house is close to the water with a view to enjoy but you will not be able to swim just below because it is a small, private beach that is the neighbor's. The nearest swimming jetty is a short bike ride away or about a 15-20 minute walk. You will come to a very nice, shallow, sandy beach in Fiskeboda, about 20 minutes by car and several other lakes nearby. 💚 There is a large trampoline and sandbox with toys and Bobby cars for children outside the house. There is also a small baby pool to inflate and use. 🩷 If you would like help with the cleaning, I can arrange it for an extra SEK 800. Learn more about what this means during cleaning. ❤️ You will need to buy your own wood and charcoal. 🤍 Wifi is available, it is included in the price. ❣️ It is not allowed to have loud parties here. ❣️If you want to invite a relative or friend to sleep over who is not included in the booking, it costs an extra SEK 500 per person. Please let us know in advance if you would like the person to have access to bed linens and towels. Once again, a warm welcome 😊 Guest access There are some drawers that are intended for you as guests to use, the others are private. The small cottage on the property is currently used as a storage room and is not available for rent. Other things to note This is a country house surrounded by horse pastures and forest, so expect there to be flies, butterflies, ants, ladybugs, the occasional spider, etc. In some periods of the year, flies have a tendency to get into the house but there are fly traps and vacuum cleaners 😊
