There is Fritz Creek General Store for staples, gas, & liquor will hopefully be open for 2025 after a bad fire. Also, this is "Alaska: The Last Frontier" country as the Kilchers homestead is in the Fritz Creek area only a few miles from The Husky Ranch! There is a State Parks hiking trail within a half mile of the ranch or just enjoy your run the place! Wildflowers galore! The house is 1800sq ft. and sleeps 6; 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and a very comfy double futon. Wi-Fi, smart TV's, all amenities! Early in the season is referred to as 'break-up' and spring is still waking up but come mid June, watch out, the cranes land in the fields and moose frequently cruise through the yard! This once was a robust working sled dog ranch so keep your eye out for the old sleds that grace the property~Peaceful but gently wild~ Complete comfort for the soul and a tranquil spot in our "Cosmic Hamlet-by-the-Sea".
