Restored Farmhouse on 88 acre near Cleveland/Akron

Explore the nearly 40 acres of private woodlands, or walk around the crop fields on this 88 acre property. Enjoy the use of the large patio and outdoor fireplace. We are a pet friendly property with a $100 pet cleaning charge assessed at the time of booking. A great getaway for guests of all ages! The space The 1833 farmhouse was recently fully restored with some modern amenities, while preserving the history and character of the house. The 2300 sq ft farmhouse contains 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 living/family rooms, dining room, a working area room, a mudroom, and a full kitchen. Guests have full access to the house (except for the basement/cellar), as well as the concrete patio with stone fireplace on the backside of the large barn. All other buildings including the large barn are not accessible to guests. Guests are free to access any part of the 88 acre property which includes the farmed fields, a pond (that may contain fish) at the back of the property, the woodlands area, and a small orchard. Since this is a working farm (no farm animals), it is possible that the owner, and two other farmers (beekeeper and soybean farmer) may be on the property during your stay to conduct their business. It is important to note that none of these people will require access to the farmhouse. When you reserve your stay at the farmhouse you will have sole access to the house. Guest access Guests have full access to the house (except for the basement/cellar), as well as the concrete patio with stone fireplace on the backside of the large barn. All other buildings including the large barn are not accessible to guests. Guests are free to access any part of the 88 acre property which includes the farmed fields, a pond (that may contain fish) at the back of the property, the woodlands area, and a small orchard. Other things to note There is a mudroom entrance on the side of the house with a bathtub that has been converted into a dogwash station. There are also two dog bowls, and towels for your dog if you choose to use this amenity. Bedroom 4 contains a double bed and is located on the first floor.
