Our cozy cabin in Frenchville is easily accessible but yet provides you and your guests with a quiet private getaway. Our newly remodeled cabin is the perfect place to relax, sleep in, and enjoy nature. Whether you are here for a weekend getaway, or hunting with your favorite hunting buddies, this is the place for you! The property provides ample parking and plenty of space for parking trailers. Enjoy your time here relaxing by the fire or see all the area known as the PA Wilds has to offer! The space Pine View cabin is located in Central Pennsylvania, Clearfield County in the little town of Frenchville. We are just a hop, skip and a jump from some of the best places and activities Central PA has to offer, starting with the Moshannon State Forest. Within 2 miles of the cabin is 50,000+ acres of State Game lands used for hunting, hiking, or just observing wild life. Next is the West Branch of the Susquehanna River which provides several boat launches for canoeing or kayaking and some great fishing. State College is only 45 minutes away and this is a great place to stay for the weekend to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city while still taking in some Penn State Football. We are in the heart of the Annual 100 mile yard sale held here in Frenchville the 3rd weekend of July. Frenchville also hosts the largest organized Coyote hunt at Mosquito Creek Sportsmen’s Club every February. Other great attractions are Parker Dam State Park, S.B. Elliot State Park, Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub home of the burger challenge, the Clearfield County Fair, Penns Cave and the Quehanna Wild Area which has miles of hiking trails and abundant wildlife!! Our cabin has all the amenities for anyone looking for a relaxing weekend, traveling to a local attraction or in the area for hunting season. The cabin is located on a 1 acre lot with ample space for parking and offered a U shaped driveway that can easily accommodate trailers for easy access in and out of the driveway. The outside area of the cabin has several extras to provide hours relaxation such as a hammock, outdoor seating, a picnic table, and an outdoor wooden swing. The cabin has two spacious bedrooms with the first bedroom hosting a Queen bed and a Twin over Full metal bunkbed. A closet and lots of wall hooks for hanging towels, coats and more. The second bedroom has two matching Twin over Full bunkbeds, a dresser, closet and hooks for hanging towels, coats, and more. Beds are fully made and extra pillows, and blankets are available. There is an open kitchen / dining room area that is fully stocked with microwave, coffee maker, air fryer, waffle maker, crock pot, mixer, griddle pan, electric stove, ice cube trays and extras. Also supplied are basic spices, coffee, pancake mix, salt, pepper, sugar, etc. Paper towels, paper plates, toilet paper and napkins are all provided. The bathroom is newly remodeled with tub/shower and towels are provided. There is new Luxury Vinyl Flooring throughout the cabin. Inside the cabin is a Roku Smart TV with a that can be used for streaming services (internet not available). There is a blue ray / dvd player with a variety of movies. Also a few board games, playing cards, and puzzles are there for your use. Outside there is a front porch has 3 chairs for relaxing and sipping morning coffee. A picnic table, a gas grill and a fire ring with 6 Adirondack chairs. Firewood is provided. The fire ring also has a grate that can be attached and used for cooking. Grill and cooking grate must be cleaned after each use. Guest access You will have access to entire cabin.
