Spacious 2 dbl bed house (sleeps 5) close to AONB and National Trust land. Conveniently located close to the Saxon Hill Top town Shaftesbury. This recently converted stable block is situated on part of a private property in a semi rural area with designated garden area. Approx 50 min drive to beaches . Close to a vast network of footpaths and about a 2 mile walk to Shaftesbury via By-ways. Walking distance of about 2.5 miles to Compton Abbas Airfield. Views out onto fields and horses. The space The property is on one level offering a spacious master bedroom with king size and single bed, a second bedroom with king size bed and wardrobes. The kitchen / lounge area is roomy and light with patio doors out on to the drive way offering views over fields. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, microwave and cooking utensil as well as crockery, cutlery and glasses. There’s a bathroom with a toilet, bath/showroom, double sinks and heated towel rail. There’s garden tables and chairs directly outside of the property and a good sized designated garden to the side of the property. The bedrooms and kitchen/sitting room have a dedicated air conditioning unit in each room. The air conditioning units provide cooling and heating. Guest access Guests are invited to use the driveway for parking up to two cars, please contact us beforehand if more parking is required. The garden furniture in front of the property is for you use and comes with cushions when the weather is dry. There’s a good sized ‘secret garden’ which has been designated to our guests. We ask guests not to enter the field or stable yard. Other things to note The annexe is situated in the grounds of the host’s house. Yvonne, your host can recommend local restaurants, attractions and beaches. The famous Melbury Beacon is approx 30 mins walk from property.
