El Jardín de los Colibríes (The Hummingbird Gardens) is a beautiful, 1 hectare farm, located in Cerritos in Pereira, Risaralda, Colombia. A beautiful collection of native plants, flowers, and tropical trees surround this property, creating the ideal space to attract hummingbirds, parrots, canaries among the 70+ species of birds that visit us. Swim, hike, rest in the hammocks, and immerse yourself in the beauty and sounds of the Colombian tropics. The space Newly remodeled home with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a dining room, fully doted kitchen, exterior corridors with an additional dining area and hammock zone. Guest access Pool with 3 depth levels, gazebo, barbecue, kitchen, billiards, hammocks, playground, play house, ecological path, park benches to rest, read, and bird watch, gardens, collection of bromeliads, anthuriums, heliconias and orchids. Wifi for guests (who need to work and stay connected every once in a while) and cable & new smart TV with access to Netflix and YouTube. Other things to note There is no restaurant (as the kitchen is fully equipped), but visitors can hire, for an additional fee, the caretaker to prepare meals. The price depends on the number of guests. In the area, there are many good restaurants, stores, drugstores, and supermarkets with delivery services. Information is in a folder at the farm. The distribution of the bedrooms is the following: Room 1: 2 double beds and 1 bunk bed Room 2: 1 double bed, 1 single bed, and 1 bunk bed Room 3: 1 double bed The farm is located in a gated community of farms. To get to it, you must go through a security gate. A private security company monitors the area. No AC or heating is needed in our forever-spring climate.
