Come on hang out in the warm cosy Nest sleep on a new mattress! listen to the birds, relax in the hammock, books, Netflix. Walk, swim, paddle along the river Dart, 10 mins downhill walk to Totnes high street/ river / market/ restaurants/ shops and events. Beautiful beaches/ Dartmoor 20 mins drive away, on/ off street parking. Good for couples/friends/families. The cabin is close to the main house but private. Chill on the decking, light a fire,feed the hedgehogs under the stars, spot the frogs🐸 The space The Nest is a garden cabin close to our main home but very private with frosted glass front door, blackout blinds and fully opening bifold doors. There is a comfortable double bed, clean linen and a futon company floor mattress, suitable for child up to 12. Comfy double sofa bed. Oak sliding door reveals shower room with hot shower /toilet, towels, refilled toiletries. Indoor well equipped Kitchenette indoor, air fryer, microwave, single job. outdoor covered washing up area. Spacious wraparound decking, very efficient heating for colder months, places to relax in the garden, dappled shade, sun or rain🌅cosy, secluded, comfy, warm and quiet. Netflix TV, books and local guides, Safe friendly neighbourhood with views over Totnes countryside. We have a small friendly black and white cat who will want to come and say hello,Isabella, Make sure she doesn’t get locked in when you leave, Shoo her away if cats are not your thing. The space is very peaceful. Please contact me if you have any questions. The front drive is shingle stones, as is the path sloping down to the Nest’s private entrance, there are three wide wooden steps down to the front door and steps on the back decking, I would say this is not an accessible space for wheelchair users, please get in touch if you think we may be able to help adapt. Please also note some reviews relate to a previous listing when we rented our main residence a few years ago. The nest is a new listing as of August 24. Come on down and enjoy. if you are two people but you would like both the sofa bed and the double bed made up please book as if you are three people then an additional £15 a night will be charged for the extra Work and bedding for the sofa bed, I do not charge cleaning fee. Guest access The entire Nest is for guests only as is attached decking.The garden is shared with us ( myself, my husband and my 13 year-old son ) but we respect your privacy and try to leave the bottom of the garden in peace when guests are in the nest. During school term time we are all out most of the day. You’re welcome to use the community space through the gate at the bottom of the garden but this space is out of my jurisdiction. This is public land used by all the neighbourhood, it is generally very peaceful with the occasional dog walker. Guests with children are welcome to use the trampoline but supervise your kids please, I cannot guarantee trampoline safety, it is well used and the netting around it is not secure. we are a friendly bunch but respectful, we will keep our distance and hope you feel at home. Other things to note If you need the sofa bed made up please indicate 3 people booking even if only 2 as this covers extra bedding, washing etc.. £15 extra per night.I do not charge cleaning fee. Please no fires on the decking, no candles inside or out. The fire pit should be used with caution and respect on the grass, again please use responsibly at your own risk and supervise children around fire pit. This is a residential area please respect no parties or loud music. Parking space for two cars on the front drive we have one please feel free to squeeze in beside us or park on the street ( not directly opposites the house as there is a disability bay. Please note the kitchen is a kitchenette. The washing up area is glamping style outside but covered there is an air fryer, microwave, and 1 ring hob, slow cooker, toaster, kettle etc but no oven.Everything else you need is there pots and pans, fridge etc.
