Relaxing peaceful retreat in rural village

La Casita is a charming, cosy little house for 2, on the edge of the tranquil village of Rabouillet in the Pyrénées Orientales. A terrace with stunning views over the surrounding hills. Hikes and walks are possible straight from the house. Whatever the season it's a perfect place to recharge your batteries and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Wooden floors and stone walls add to the charm of this little gem of a house. The woodburner guarantees cosy winter evenings! The space The ground floor (25m2) consists of the bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with shower and a wood burner. Attractively decorated with wooden flooring, stone walls and a beautiful hand crafted wooden staircase! This staircase leads to the first floor and the kitchen/dining room/lounge area. Large French doors lead on to the terrace and it’s view over the surrounding hills. Shady till early afternoon, the terrace is perfect for al fresco breakfast and lunch whilst listening to bird song and the water running through the village. The fully equipped kitchen has a mini oven , gas hobs and dish washer. Shared washing machine available. Rabouillet is a tranquil rural village. The different pace of life is instantly soothing and healing! 6km away there is a small village grocer shop and supermarkets are further afield. The perfect place for a romantic getaway whatever the season! Guest access The accomodation and terrace are for your sole use. Other things to note There are no cleaning charges if you leave the house as you found it. Alternatively you can pay 30€ ( for stays of 4 nights of more) or 15€ ( stays of 2-3 nights) for the cleaning fee. The house needs to be vacated by 10 am unless previously agreed with us. Out of season a later departure is often possible.
