The space Villa Palmera’s elevated position allows for sweeping vistas of the bay under palm trees just in front of the iconic Maderas Rock, with unforgetable sunsets visible right from your front porch or beachfront lawn chairs or from inside the unique 13 m infinity pool. You can enjoy different spaces around Villa Palmera. In front the beachfront chairs at the grass under the palm trees to watch the waves rolling in. And see the sand in the small bay at the end of Playa Maderas and a direct view to the famous rock of Playa Maderas for the most incredible sunsets. Or from the front porch with different types of chairs, tables and hammocks. Behind the villa is a large dining area, grill and bar with good shade during the day. And different areas at the pool. With a full kitchen, smart TV, and strong fiber optic Wi-Fi inside and all outdoor spaces, this villa offers a perfect blend of nature, modern comfort, 24/7 security, service staff and coastal charm and adventure— ideal for families and small groups. Go to the beatiful uniquely shaped 13 m infinity pool area with palms or take the direct beach access to the white sand. At the pool are different areas as shaded nooks on small terraces under palms and different pairs of sun loungers. A great feature is the traditional nicaraguan palapa surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy shade and a fresh breeze. You can use it for reading, working remotely on great wifi, dinner or party. The pool area also has its own restroom. Its normal to ask to have breakfast or dinner served at the palapa and enjoy traditional nicaraguan style of living. So for sure you can always find a new place to be and experience the area and the ocean from a new perspective. And you can move around during the day - if you want some shade a part of the day. Your villa is a complete experience of both views, tropic gardens and nature with monkeys and birds, very private and kids friendly with 24 hour security and housekeeping, kitchen staff at your service on request. The staff can help you with the grill and cooking. About bedrooms: All bedrooms have their own bathroom with a hairdryer, a/c and ceiling fan and a safe. Daily cleaning is included. Towels for bath as well as beach are provided. Laundry service is possible. Beds can be split or arranged in any combination according to your specific needs. Also an extra bed in a room can be provided - and we have a cradle and baby chair. About food during your stay: You have a fully equiped kitchen including a stove with owen, microwave, refrigerator with small freezer, coffemaker, kettle, toaster, blender and what else you need. Remember to buy the food you need in 1 of the 2 local supermarkets "Ahora Mas" or "Pali" on your way to your villa. You can find them on google maps - as well as our destination "Villas Playa Maderas". If you want a break from cooking and still be in your own villa you can ask our staff to cook - or use a quick delivery service. Or go to one of the four beach restaurants or drive to other restaurants in the maderas area as well as to the famous beach promenade in San Juan del Sur. You will probably try the restaurants on each side of the beach. Juanitas Kitchen is to the north side of the beach and 3 restaurants is the south side. This is the surfers area - where you might eat and drink during the day - and rent a parasol maybe - or watch what goes on in the surf area. Or rent a surf board or a boogie board. Other restaurants in the remote maderas area are "Hush" which is popular. And "Machete Market Cafe" if it is open. Or "Mango Rosa" if you look for beef. And in San Juan del Sur you might try one of the beachfront restaurants and maybe have some seafood - or find one of the other restaurants in town. You can also ask for quick delivery from a restaurant to your villa. So you have a lot of options to explore - when you choose not to cook your own food. You have an excellent fiber optic wifi inside as well as outside for different devices at the same time to work remotely or study from home or watch TV. And to google options in the area and make your choices. Guest access Villa Palmera has private parking right next to it. The outdoor gym has a lot of wooden weights and ketle bells. If you like we can carry your favorite kilos to your villa so you can use them there during your stay. Maybe on your front porch enjoying the ocean views at the same time. You also find battle ropes and a slack line and other challenges. The obstacle course is designed so everyone in a family should be able to do at least some of it like a family fun. There are also a swing for the kids. Family games: We are focusing on how a family can have some fun to do except the pool. So you can play mini american soccer or mini european football at the green turf in front of the outdoor gym or jungle gym as we like to call it. Ask the staff to bring the stuff for you from the reception. We also have bocce. Also you find fun games like cornhole/juego de mais, mini jenga and mega jenga, outdoor domino, hit the racoons, and different toss games with rings and ladder golf or jungle golf as we call it here. Games for your villa: Right now we have Twister, Monopoly and Uno, Checkers, Chess, Memory, Domino for small kids. Any other suggestion let us know and we might have if you visit. Access to our forest trails and the beach: You can find signs showing the trails "Mono Congo" and "Mapache" and our staff can explain. The Mapache (racoon) trail is also the easiest way to get to the 3 villas on the other side of the ravine. On each side of the small forest ravine going to the sea are 3 rental villas. Each side has its own private beach access. Wildlife: On our property you can "ind the black " Mono Congo” monkeys and maybe also a sloth and a variation of birds and butterflyes. A staff member can help you find the monkeys if the are not coming close to your house. San Juan del Sur area: If you are looking for any special type of activity in the San Juan del Sur area you can ask our staff for advice. As you can see here is a lot to do for a family and therefore you might consider a stay here as a perfect base for a holiday in southern nicaragua - where you each day might be back before 6 pm so you can enjoy another sunset. You can count on always to be online: Remember you always have wifi inside and outside for many devices at the same time - so each member of the family can do what they like on the wifi whenever they like. And if you have a webmeeting connected to your work you can be sure the wifi works. At least we never had any problem yet during the last years. And we have back up systems. And the wifi is fiber optic.
