There’s plenty of room for everyone in our open floor plan or for you to just relax or enjoy the wildlife. Located roughly 2 miles from the town of Dushore, you can easily find just about whatever you need while you’re away. Explore nearby State Parks, shopping and restaurants or find great hunting and fishing spots too! The space Our hand crafted log house has been in our family for 35 years and is located on 6.5 acres of open land and wooded areas. Guests have use of all 6.5 acres. The open floor plan on the main floor includes a kitchen, dining and living room area. Additionally, the main floor includes 2 private bedrooms and a full shower bathroom. The first bedroom has 1 full size bed and the other has 2 full size beds. The sofa in the living room pulls out to accommodate a queen size sleeping area. On the second floor there is a loft area with a daybed/trundle combo, a dedicated workspace, and a Super Nintendo game console (several games included). The master bedroom is also located on the second floor and includes a queen size bed and a private full shower/tub bathroom. The front covered porch includes a dining and grilling areas. The rear covered balcony includes a larger dining area with an extra seating space to enjoy the outdoors. A Keurig Duo Coffee Maker (reusable filter is included) is located on site. Folger’s Ground Coffee is provided to use. Please bring your favorite k-cups to enjoy. Wireless speakers are available for you to enjoy your own playlists either, indoors or outdoors, as well as Starlink satellite WiFi. Guest access Keyless entry provided for your convenience. Guest have access to the Main and second floors of the house. There is no access to the basement, garage or detached garage. Other things to note This cabin is located in the woods. You are almost certain to encounter wildlife during your stay. Some of which could be considered dangerous. Examples of wildlife may include: deer, bear, turkey, rabbits, coyotes, and bobcats. You may also see mice, spiders, moths, bugs and snakes as they inhabit wooded areas. We make every effort to exterminate quarterly to keep pests out of the house, but it is impossible to prevent every bug, and sometimes mice from entering. No refunds will be given for incidents where pests are found. During winter months, 4WD or AWD is recommended, although not required. Please no hunting, use of firearms, archery discharge, or use of fireworks or explosives on the property. Property maintenance equipment for multiple properties are stored onsite. On rare occasions you will be given as much notice as possible if someone will stop by to access that equipment. There are exterior security cameras located on property for security purposes only. Absolutely NO open burning on property! This includes any open fire in the yard and in the burning barrel. NO use of indoor wood stove. You must be 25 or older to rent this place. PLEASE NOTE: You are required to disclose if you are bringing a pet to stay with you. There is a fee for each dog (there are no cats allowed) as noted in the House Rules.
