A two-bedroom character cottage within easy-walking distance of the charming and friendly market town of Usk. Here you’ll find café’s, pubs, restaurants , shops and also the famous Usk castle. The cottage has one double bedroom, with views over the River Usk, and a smaller, single bedroom. Whether you’re visiting friends or family, attending a wedding in one of the popular hotels, or spending a bit longer exploring beautiful South Wales, this little cottage is sure to suit The space Upon entering the cottage there is a cosy lounge with a woodburner and TV with a great entertainment package. There are a couple of steps down to the dining area and a little nook with a desk under the stairs which could be useful for those needing to check in on work while away. Fast WiFi is available. Also downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower over the bath and a warm towel rail. Outside is a little enclosed garden, perfect for afternoon tea and secure for pets. Access to the upstairs is via some fairly steep steps. There are two bedrooms, a double with generous hanging space and shelves and a smaller single with only shelving space available . Travelcot and high chair available on request. There is also a car parking space to the rear of the property. Guest access Whole cottage and enclosed garden. We now have a lockbox available for self serve check ins. Also happy to meet and greet and show guests around. Please advise ETA if face to face preferred. Other things to note A travelcot and high chair can be provided upon request. Please note that the cottage is situated on a fairly busy road near the junction to Usk bridge. Some times of day are busier than others so it can be a bit noisy which may not suit some guests. The stairs up to the bedroom are quite steep and the 2nd bedroom leads directly off the stairs. This is a feature of a cottage built around 1800 so may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
