The space The beach house is located in a beautiful fisherman’s bay on the northern shores of Koh Phangan. Features a large terrace with direct beach access. Ideal for couples or good friends, and generally best suited for adults. 🌊 Wake up every morning to stunning ocean views and the sound of the waves. You’re right in the heart of one of the island’s most charming hubs, with everything you need just a short walk away. Enjoy a wide range of lovely restaurants, cozy bars, excellent beachfront cafes, massage places, a few local 7/11, fresh fruit shops, and the famous Sunday market at the pier. Take a stroll along the beach and immerse yourself in Island life! Features a comfy king-size bed, soft linens, AC, closet, black-out curtains on all windows, and a Smart TV where you can log into your Netflix account. 🌊 BALCONY Step out from the bedroom onto the terrace - a perfect spot for your morning tea or coffee while enjoying the sea breeze and views. A dining table and chairs are set up for reading, relaxing, or simply taking in the scenery. 🌊 LIVING ROOM A spacious, air-conditioned living room with a super comfortable sofa, coffee table, small dining table, and a work desk. Bright and inviting, with views of Chaloklum’s beauty right from your sofa. The sofa opens into a king-size bed with a high-quality topper. Black-out curtains on all windows allow the space to function comfortably as a second bedroom. Please note: The beach house is ideal for two people but can host up to four guests if using the living room as an additional sleeping area. 🌊 KITCHEN Compact, practical, and equipped with everything you need: Fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, blender, toaster oven, gas stove, Moka pot coffee maker, filtered water tank, pots, pans, cutlery, and all essential cookware. 👼 BABY SUPPLIES: While the house is designed mainly for adults, children are welcome. We can provide a crib and a high chair suitable for babies up to one year old. Just mention it in your booking, and we’ll prepare everything before you arrive. 🌊 ABOUT CHALOKLUM: Chaloklum is one of the most magical and authentic areas of Koh Phangan - an old fishing village on the northern coast filled with wild nature, a calm atmosphere, excellent food, and everything you need close by. Perfect for swimming, walking, or relaxing. Mornings are peaceful, and sunsets are magical. You’ll also find small beach bars and restaurants where you can sit barefoot, enjoy a drink, and taste fresh fish straight from the sea. 🌊 HIGH AND LOW TIDE: Chaloklum has noticeable tides throughout the year. During high tide, the water is higher and perfect for swimming. During low tide - unlike many other beaches on Koh Phangan - the bay remains relatively deep, so you can still swim comfortably. This is one of Chaloklum’s best advantages. 🏝️ ISLAND LIFE: We’ve lived here for more than five years and can say with certainty: this place is peaceful, picturesque, and deeply loved by locals and travelers. Chaloklum Bay is home to excellent restaurants, beachfront bars, and a true blend of calmness and community spirit. Nature sets the pace here, and we’d be happy to share all our favorite spots with you. 🌊 NOISE IN CHALOKLUM: You are staying in an active bay, which means natural boat sounds throughout the day - local fishing boats, tour boats, and ferries passing through. There is no road noise since the house is not on a main road. You’ll hear the bay’s rhythm: water, boats, island life. Most guests love the authenticity, but those sensitive to sea sounds should consider this before booking. We’re always transparent and open, and we recommend reading our wonderful reviews. The bay experience is part of Chaloklum’s magic - nature, village life, the sea, and true local living. ⚡ELECTRICITY: Electricity is charged by usage at cost price: 7 THB per unit. We want guests to be mindful of the environment to ensure they use electricity as they would comfortably at home but without leaving the AC on 24 hours a day when you are not home. 💙 FACILITIES: There are two laundry shops within walking distance offering 24-hour or same-day service. 📺 SMART TV: There is a smart TV in the bedroom, so please bring your login info to access your personal account for Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, HBO, etc. 🅿 PARKING Plenty of off-road parking for scooters and one car right near the entrance. 🛵🚗 SCOOTER / CAR RENT We can help arrange scooter or car rentals with trusted local companies. Just let us know - either before arrival or after. 🏝️HOW TO GET TO KOH PHANGAN: There are a few options, and these are the 2 easiest ones: OPTION 1 - via Koh Samui (easiest & fastest) Fly to Koh Samui → take a 30-minute ferry to Koh Phangan. OPTION 2 - via Surat Thani (cheapest but longer) Fly to Surat Thani → transfer to the ferry port (about 1.5 hours) → ferry to Koh Phangan (2.5 hours). Everything can be arranged at the airport. 🏝️ARRIVAL AT KOH PHANGAN When you arrive in Koh Phangan we can help & pre arrange a private taxi to be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it and take you direct to your home. The beach house has a maximum capacity of 4 guests - 2 Adults and 2 children. ✈️ FLIGHTS & FERRIES Please ensure correct timing for arrival, depending on where you travel from, the last ferries have cut-off times. We’re happy to help guide you, but refunds cannot be given if guests miss ferries or cannot reach the island. ⚡ ELECTRICITY Electricity is charged at cost, 7 THB per unit. On average, usage is between 80–150 THB per day, depending on air-conditioning use. We kindly ask that you enjoy your stay comfortably but avoid leaving the AC on when you’re not home. 🩵 NEIGHBOURS There are neighbors around. Please be respectful. 🐞 BUGS, INSECTS & ISLAND LIFE Life on a tropical island means occasionally sharing space with nature — insects, geckos, or other wildlife.
