Immersed in chestnut groves... in the coolness of the woods

THE HOUSE IN THE WOODS for those who want to disconnect, recover energy and experience nature with joy: chestnut trees that shade the large terrace from which to admire the stars while sipping a good wine with the dormice jumping between the branches and the fawns that occasionally peek out. At the back, there is an orchard with stone tables where you can admire the landscape and have a snack at sunset. Directly on the promenade that leads to the cross of Egro, a mystical panoramic point overlooking Lake Orta...❤️❤️❤️ The space A house🏡of yesteryear designed to live a different experience: simplicity in a comfortable environment. Egro is a village created by wealthy people who, after selling their businesses, tried to reproduce a "buen ritiro", a sort of earthly Eden, living like country gentlemen. Living in the quiet of nature in contact with the animals of the forest could be strongly regenerating with small unexpected luxuries, and satisfying because they are of another mental dimension. A magnificent experience for those who are eager to live it, but also a house and an experience that IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. This is the ideal place for those who love adventure and to be able to perceive the essence of things. At some peak times, there may be a lack of water (when everyone in the village is washing dishes or on weekends when in Egro they are "making a racket playing bocce"...) at night, then, a fox might pass by the house or a herd of wild boars under the chestnut trees and you can watch them pass from the top of the terrace, or a fawn might peek into the orchard to eat some fruit, or fireflies in large numbers might light up the night. In Winter ❄️ you can warm up with the fireplace and the stove, with wood 🪵 included in the price!!! Every day is different and individual. Guest access The house is not suitable for everyone, as to access the rooms you must be able to climb a fairly steep staircase that could be difficult for very old people or people with reduced mobility. Even the ground floor being raised implies the need to be able to climb a staircase without a ramp for wheelchairs. Other things to note The house is located on the promenade to the "La Croce di Egro" viewpoint, which can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes and overlooks Lake Orta. With a walk of about 40 minutes, you can also go down to Pella through the woods, and there are several itineraries for those who want to take nice walks. To reach the house you can use the car by driving at low speed along a dirt road of about 500 meters and it is possible to park in the parking lot of the property 50 meters from the house. There are no shops in Egro! The only activity is a club where you can have lunch and dinner every day, play bocce and on weekends sometimes a musical group or a DJ also comes. Near the club there is a washbasin with spring water that can be collected free of charge in the glass bottles available for guests of the house. The nearest supermarket and pharmacy are located in Cesara, about a 10-minute drive (5 km). The house is close to the town (200 meters) but in an isolated position and therefore it is possible to have exceptional privacy.
