The space This is our much-loved family home, rather than a property used solely for holiday letting, so it has a warm, lived-in and relaxed feel. The house has comfortable living spaces for spending time together, as well as our children’s bedrooms. The beds in the children’s rooms are full-size beds, but please be aware that they are best suited to children or agile adults: one is accessed by a ladder and the other is a bunk bed. We also have a conservatory which is primarily our dogs’ space. If you’re bringing a dog, this is a really useful area for them during your stay and we have a large dog crate you can use. If you’re not travelling with a dog, you’re of course welcome to use the conservatory, but please understand that it is very much a dog-friendly space rather than one of the main living areas of the house. We want to be transparent that dogs live in our home. The entire house is always thoroughly and deeply cleaned before guests arrive, but anyone with a significant dog allergy or who would be uncomfortable staying in a home where dogs normally live should bear this in mind when booking. Above all, this is a real family home that we love, and we hope guests will enjoy its comfortable, informal atmosphere and treat it as they would their own. Guest access Guests are welcome to use all areas of the house during their stay. There is a large fridge in the kitchen which is entirely available for your use. We also have a small separate fridge where we keep our own food and personal items, so we kindly ask that guests don’t use this one. Otherwise, please make yourselves at home and enjoy the house and its spaces during your stay.
