Bluebell Cottage is a 18th century tastefully converted Barn with original oak beams and vaulted ceilings , set in a wooded valley on our equestrian smallholding. 4 miles from the award winning , dog friendly beaches of Cardigan Bay and the Pembrokeshire Coastal path with distant views of the quaint seaside villages of Tresaith, Llangrannog and Newquay. A delightful place to bring the family, for a great escape to the country. The space A warm welcome awaits you at our exceptional corner of beautiful West Wales at Cuckoo Springs. Approached from the lane via double wooden gates , parking is directly outside the cottage. The outside space has a patio area with garden furniture and firepit, set within a large lawned area. Open the front door to your delightful rural retreat where you can unwind and chill. The double bedroom has en suite facilities, with space for a cot or z bed for an additional child, overlooking the countryside. The twin room has its own bathroom. Central heating and free Wi Fi throughout. All beds have quality Egyptian cotton linen. White bath and hand towels are provided but please bring you own beach towels. Large open plan well equipped kitchen with double air fryer, cooker, microwave, hob, kettle, toaster, all crockery , cutlery, glasses, utensils, tea towels, oven gloves, pots and pans, dishwasher, fridge with freezer box. A large chest freezer and washing machine are available in the shared utility room. Spacious family dining area with pine table and four chairs. Lounge area with2 comfy leather sofas, Smart TV + fire stick, cosy wood burner ,exposed oak beams, vaulted ceiling with sky light windows, extra lighting, coffee table and a comprehensive selection of books , games and DVD's to suit all ages. The lounge door opens onto the balcony overlooking the garden and our fields beyond, with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Our private five acre woodland bordering the smallholding is abundant with a variety of birds and wildlife. A network of Footpaths are within a few minutes walk an ideal short cut to the village bakery in Betws Ifan, which always has a selection of tasty treats and freshly baked bread The petrol station in Beulah has a shop attached for groceries. Cardigan Bay has a eclectic mix of attractions and something for everyone. The twee coves of Ferwig and Mwnt, to the vast sandy beach on the Estuary at Poppit Sands, pony trekking over the Preseli Hills, Cardigan Island, a selection of family dog friendly pubs, a shopping experience in the delightful market town of Cardigan with its ancient castle . Being close to the Pembrokeshire border , makes this a terrific place to explore the best of the two counties. Other things to note The central heating is timed from 6.30am until 10.30 am then 4.30pm until 10.30pm. A complimentary starter pack of kindling, fire lighters and logs are provided.
