South Shores boasts the communal facilities of two swimming pools, extensive lush lawns, recreation areas and a dedicated boardwalk to the beach. Stay in a spacious 2 storey villa overlooking the lawns, complete with everything you need for an ideal getaway with family or friends. The space South Shores Beach Retreat (Villa 74) is a spacious 2-storey villa that sleeps 11 guests across 5 bedrooms. Upstairs is the large main bedroom complete with air conditioning, built in robes, TV and ensuite bathroom. The open plan kitchen, living and dining area flows out onto the upstairs deck for a truly indoor/outdoor feel. Tucked away downstairs are two more spacious bedrooms and second bathroom. As of December 2025, the villa has been renovated with the addition of two bunk rooms and a second living area downstairs. The villa is airconditioned throughout with a combination of ducted and split systems. All linen is provided, so all you need to do is step in and relax. The kitchen and laundry are both fully equipped to cater for a full house of guests, with everything you need. The villa is ideally situated between the two swimming pools with direct access to the lawns that are great for outdoor games. The villa itself is situated within the South Shores gated resort. Enjoy the communal facilities of expansive lawns, play areas, swimming pools and private beach access. The beach is an easy 10 minute walk along a dedicated boardwalk. It's a beautiful stroll through ancient natural dunes and bushland. Walk another 10 minutes along the beach and you'll arrive at Normanville foreshore - there you can enjoy a coffee, light lunch or ice cream at the kiosk. Have a sundowner at the surf club or enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner at Aqua Blue restaurant (bookings recommended). South Shores Resort sits in a semi rural location adjacent to farming land, but only 1.5 km south of Normanville township. Normanville is a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk via the main road.
