To help us keep our eco-footprint low, we kindly ask guests to leave high-powered appliances, like hairdryers, at home. Relax Under the Stars As the day winds down, savour the setting sun from your deck with a glass of wine or enjoy the views from your private outdoor bath. Gather around your fire pit with marshmallows, lounge in Adirondack chairs, and marvel at the clear, starlit sky – a truly magical ending to a day spent immersed in nature. Guest access Wildnest Wilderness spans 800 acres of untouched bushland, offering guests a secluded retreat surrounded by nature. With expansive forested areas and a few clearings, the property invites exploration and peaceful solitude. Please take care when navigating the landscape, as this is a natural, rugged environment that is home to much of Australia’s wildlife. The drive from Bathurst to Turondale is via Turondale Road, a fully sealed bitumen road. Upon reaching the property entrance, you will travel 3.5km on an unsealed, rugged track through a working sheep station, passing cattle grids and gates along the way. We strongly recommend AWD or 4WD vehicles for safe and comfortable access, as the terrain can be challenging, particularly for those unfamiliar with country roads. While some 2WD vehicles may navigate the road, drivers should be confident on rough, uneven surfaces. All road use is at your own risk, and Wildnest will not be liable for any damage to vehicles. After reaching the top of the property, you’ll continue on an additional 1.5 km of unsealed road through the white ghost trees leading to the tents. Please drive carefully, as this is a one-way path, and enjoy the gradual transition into the tranquillity of the bush. We also ask that your vehicle is fitted with a spare wheel. As with any rural property, unexpected flat tyres can happen, and being prepared will give you peace of mind during your stay. Unfortunately, vehicles without a spare (including some EVs) are not well suited to the road in. We’ll send you the access codes for the property gate and your tent on the morning of your arrival, so everything is ready for a seamless check-in. The two glamping tents are set within the same clearing and are designed to maximise privacy, though they are within view of one another. Finally, you may notice an uninhabited house on the property. This building is part of our future plans for a corporate lodge, but for now, it remains empty and won’t interfere with your stay. Other things to note No WiFi and Limited Phone Reception: Perfect for a digital detox! While you will get coverage in most spots, we encourage you to embrace the opportunity to disconnect. No Pets or Children: We are unable to accommodate pets or children for safety reasons and to maintain a peaceful environment for other guests. Take Your Rubbish with You: Remember to take your rubbish with you when you leave, as we don’t have regular bin collections in this rural area. Your cooperation goes a long way toward preserving Wildnest and its surroundings' natural beauty. Registration Details Exempt
