Alsace, Vosges and Black Forest

Charming house located on the heights of a peaceful rural village at the foot of the Vosges, attached to the forest and a small town offering all services. This place is suitable for a family (up to 4 children) or couples who want to discover Alsace (its culinary, cultural and wine route specialties) as well as the Vosges (small family mountains with beautiful hikes). Access to Switzerland and Germany (Black Forest) is also easy... The space There are 4 of us living in the house (2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 13). DRC: 1 kitchen with terrace, 1 bathroom with bath and shower, 1 toilet, 1 work/game room, 1 living room giving access to the garden and pool Floor: 1) A master bedroom with a double bed in 160 2) A teen room with double bed in 140 3) A children's room with a single bed in 80 and 1 bed in drawer. 4) A shower room with shower and WC. Basement: Washing machine, 1 large game and gym room. 3 parking spaces in front of the house. Garden with pool, hammock, 2 terraces and 1 football goal. Other things to note We are a couple approaching forty, have two children, are both middle school P.E. (sports) teachers and are passionate about nature and hiking, curious about discoveries. The big assets close to the house: * On foot: direct access to the adjoining forest (Zuber view, Vitaa course), to the village playground; hikes to the city of Thann (5 minutes by car), in the Rangen vineyard (1st of the wine route), the climb to the Oeil de la Sorcière (old castle) or to the Croix du Stauffen... offer many views of the Alsace plain and the Bernese Alps; discover Vosges culture: the stubble, the farm inns... not to be missed! * By bike directly from the house: several circuits of different difficulties by mountain bike in the heart of the Vosges trails; by road bike, go to the mythical passes of the Vosges (The Markstein and its summer toboggan, the famous Grand Ballon, the Petit Ballon, the Ballon d'Alsace...); finally, a bike path and a rail bike for pleasant family rides along the Thur. * By car: 1) In less than 30 minutes, museums (electricity, train, automobile, printing on fabrics, wallpaper, fine arts, potash mines, the contemporary art center, the gardens of the Wesserling Park, the Alsace eco-museum), Lake Kruth (paddle, tree climbing, swimming), the Memorial of the Old Armand and its remains of the First World War... but also climbing rooms, the park of the little prince, cinemas (5 km), a bowling alley, game rooms (laser game, artificial wave, karting...) 2) You can also easily access Germany or Switzerland in less than 40 minutes, the city of Belfort or Colmar and other typical villages nearby (Riquewihr, Kaysersberg, Ribeauvillé, Eguisheim), and Strasbourg in 1 hour 20 minutes. 3) Also, in 1 hour 10 minutes, access to the famous Europa Park amusement park and the adjoining aquatic complex: Rulantica. You will enjoy a vacation that can be of your choice, sporting, cultural, gastronomic, relaxing... or all 4 at the same time!
