The space As you step inside, you’ll immediately notice the care taken in restoring this characterful cottage. We’ve included before-and-after photographs in the album to show the thoughtful refurbishment. The property benefits from built-in superfast WiFi (450 Mbps), ideal for streaming or remote working. On the ground floor, the welcoming lounge features a brick fireplace with a log-burning stove — the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring. Large, comfortable sofas make cosy evenings effortless. The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with a range cooker, washer-dryer, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, offering everything you need for relaxed, home-cooked meals. The dining area is a favourite spot — ideal for long dinners with friends and family, surrounded by the owner’s original artwork and carefully restored furniture. A convenient downstairs WC completes the ground floor. Upstairs, exposed wooden beams highlight the cottage’s heritage and rustic charm. There are four bedrooms: • A spacious master with super king bed and ensuite shower room • A queen bedroom with high ceilings and beams • A comfortable single bedroom • A fourth bedroom with a dedicated workspace and elevated single bed with storage (please see photos for layout) The family bathroom includes a bathtub for a relaxing soak. Fresh hotel-quality linen and towels are provided, along with toiletries and a complimentary tea and coffee welcome pack. Outside, guests can enjoy a private outdoor space — perfect in warmer months. A path beside the cottage leads directly into scenic walks through the Ironbridge Gorge. Private covered parking is available for two cars, with additional free public parking opposite.
