Relaxing retreat or work stay

Spacious annexe - perfect for relaxing getaway or work stay The space Converted barn, with its own access and patio. An entrance hall - to the side of which is a shower and loo - leads to a large sitting room, overlooking a large garden. Stairs lead up to a double room with ensuite. Please note: there is no kitchen, but there is a fridge, microwave, kettle, cafetiere, and crockery/cutlery. The bedroom windows have coverings but these can be removed if you'd prefer the window light, in which case you may like to use the laundered eye-masks on the bedside tables. Please note: my office is in one quartile of the barn, with its own outside entrance. I work part time so will be in the office some of the time during your stay. You may hear my footsteps on occasion above the sitting room, or my printer. The barn sits in the grounds of our house and is surrounded by a large, secure - fenced and walled -garden. You have your own patio area and are very welcome to move the garden furniture to anywhere in the garden, to catch the sun wherever it may be! We love dogs, and you are very welcome to bring one dog. We have two of our own - small poodle/cross who are very friendly but may prance up to your dog and bark to begin with, so apologies in advance! If your dog doesn't like other dogs, please keep him or her on the lead when in the garden, or let me know in advance so I know not to let ours out into the garden at the same time. We ask that you keep your dog downstairs, and off the sofas, although if this proves impossible I do provide sofa throws :-) Guest access During your stay the space is your own. Please feel free to sit out in the garden - there is an area at the back which is very private and we don't tend to use when we have guests. You may park on the drive if you wish, or at the front of the house. Please note that the drive is narrow and our car may block you in, but all you need to do is call me and I'll move it - whatever time of day or night. Other things to note Under 16s are not allowed as guests, unless they are babes in arms. Please note that there is little space for a travel cot in the bedroom, though there is lots of room for one downstairs in the sitting room. We don't have a travel cot on site.
