Relaxing and off the beaten path but still centrally located 3 miles from downtown Chillicothe. Plenty of parking for large vehicles. Bedrooms available by booking number only. If you book for one person you get one room. Hillside Haven Homestead is tucked away in its own little corner of Appalachia. The home is in a quiet country setting, plenty of parking, nice, covered patio and porch for relaxing and this is the only designated smoking area aloud.. No pets. Registration # 48909 The space We refer to our home as the homesteader. Plenty of parking for large vehicles. We decided to open it up to guests so that we could share our family heritage and tranquil retreat with guests who are curious about the area, Appalachian Culture and interested in seeing all that Chillicothe has to offer. The home is situated on a 50-acre farm just minutes from downtown. Our family still reside on the farm and are available if you need us, but we do give you space and privacy to enjoy the farm. There are horses, a farm dog and cats residing here. You will see rabbits, squirrels, and Deer often. The covered patio was designed for social gathering or lounging. Take your pick. The interior of the home is quiet and relaxing but spacious and has 4 bedrooms and two updated bathrooms. The kitchen is cute and quaint. This is where we raised out children and ran the family business. We love the farm and love to share our heritage. Guest access Bedrooms available by number of people booked. Book one person you gain access to one room. No more than 8 people. If you book for less and need to add a guest feel free to change the booking numbers through Airbnb . Number of guests must match the number of people booked with Airbnb. All door locks are coded. Bedrooms are key coded to allow traveling groups privacy and security while traveling for work. All main areas of the home are available to relax and enjoy country living. Please let us know if you have a preferred room temperature for heat. They are auto set at 72 degrees otherwise. We will gladly adjust to meet your needs. The bedrooms are equipped with ac units so you can adjust for your individual needs. No smoking allowed. $200 cleanup fee for smoking in the house. There is a large, covered patio to expand the outdoor experience. On the side of the patio there is a charcoal grill/smoker available. No pets. Pets are not permitted. We do have pets living on the farm. They do not interact well with other animals. They love people, feel free to engage with lots of hugs and petting. Other things to note Less than 7 minutes from downtown Chillicothe. Surrounded by 7 state parks, home of Tecumseh, First Capital of Ohio, Adena Mansions Museum and Gardens, Hopewell Culture, Majestic Theater, Chillicothe Paints Baseball, and many other area attractions. We also have a private drive off the road and secluded. Plenty of secure Parking for large vehicles. Pets and livestock live on property. No other pets permitted. No smoking permitted. We will charge extra for cleanup. No pets allowed. Absolutely NO SMOKING in the home. There is a nice patio with a place to put your butts in outside.
