Edinburgh Mews

Our apartment is the ground floor of a mews building. It was built in the 1800s as stables for horses and their carriages. The chauffeurs would live upstairs and work for the owners of the large Georgian townhouses nearby. It was converted into a one-bedroom flat in 2011 and we have recently completely renovated it. We are walking distance from the city centre and most attractions in Edinburgh. The space Our apartment has an open plan kitchen / living room, a full-sized bedroom with a queen bed, and a small conservatory out the back. The couch in the living room folds out to a queen bed (UK King) which is very comfortable (we've tested it!) so four people can stay here comfortably. There is a full kitchen and large wardrobes in the bedroom. The apartment is walking distance from most major tourist sites in Edinburgh. We are 5 minutes from Dean Village and St Mary's Cathedral, and 10 minutes from the Modern Art Gallery. The Royal Mile is ~1 mile away. We are within 10 minutes walk of many restaurants and supermarkets. Parking is not available at the property, but free street parking is available ~1 mile away. Guest access This Airbnb is our home and guests have access to the entire space. We don't leave valuables around, but do leave our books games etc. You are welcome to use these, but please put them back when you are done.
