Coachman’s Cottage

A tranquil escape in the countryside based in the South Downs National Park. The Cottage is located next to my parent’s house on our family’s estate. (The Cottage is annexed to their home). It was redecorated and newly furnished in the Spring of 2024 so that it can also host those who seek a peaceful escape from everyday life. We are surrounded by beautiful walks, nature and wildlife, country pubs and only a short drive/cycle to Petersfield. It is the perfect place to disconnect and unwind. The space The Cottage is next door to/opposite my parent’s house. It has its own separate parking, which is directly opposite the front door of the Cottage. It has space for a maximum of two cars. The Cottage is cosy and rustic, providing all the basics you need to enjoy a rural stay. It has two comfy double bedrooms, which have hanging rails and mirrors, a small living area that seats four people with a Smart TV that you can log into your own accounts to stream programmes/movies (plus a small dining table to enjoy meals). It has a well equipped kitchen with appliances to make meals during your stay. And there is a bathroom which has a bath and shower. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS NO WIFI/INTERNET AT THE PROPERTY FOR GUESTS. Mobile internet data (4G/5G) signal can be intermittent, so it is a place where you are able to truly disconnect and enjoy the surrounding wildlife and peaceful countryside. Guest access You will have access to the Cottage and parking/outdoor seating area directly outside of the cottage’s front door. The rest of the estate grounds are fenced off and gates will be closed as guests are not allowed to access any other parts of the estate/grounds other than the Cottage. Other things to note There is no WiFi/internet or washing machine at the property. We recommend you bring some games or a good book! There is a Smart TV in the living room where you can stream programmes and movies by logging into your own streaming accounts. The driveway that leads to the Cottage is shared by my family. We have exterior security cameras which capture the outdoor area and parking. Please also note that I am able to facilitate check in between the hours of 3pm and 9pm, but I do require that you confirm your estimated time of arrival by the morning of the day of your arrival, as one of us will greet you at the cottage to let you in. The cottage is strictly NO SMOKING.
