Barn conversion on farm
Barn conversion on farm
Description
‘The Parlour’ is a converted old dairy barn located on a working farm, nestled in an area of outstanding natural beauty. With views across fields and forests - and the odd resident cow - this is the perfect place to unwind and explore everything East Sussex has to offer. Built in 1890, ‘The Parlour’ has plenty of character and has been converted to a high spec - making it cosy and modern throughout - with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The space 'The Parlour' has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area (including a woodburner) with vaulted ceilings and oak beams and floors throughout. There is one bathroom with a shower, along with two bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with a king-sized bed, a sunroom and private patio area. The property is self contained and located in the farmyard - making it a private and peaceful space. There is direct access onto a public bridleway/footpath from the farmyard, which leads into a network of trails through beautiful woodlands and forests - so a perfect location for walkers and dog owners alike. If you are coming with a larger group, you also have the option to book the one bedroom barn ‘The Byre’ next door. Guest access You have full access to ‘The Parlour’ and a private outside patio area. If you wish to fish on the farm's lake, let us know and we will show you where to go. Other things to note There is a pub (The Horse and Groom) and a village shop in Rushlake Green, which is a 5 minute drive and 25 minute walk away along a country lane.
