Welcome to our country cabin retreat just outside the world famous Lava Hot Springs! Our cozy custom-build cabin will comfortably sleep 5 people. There is a bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with a queen bed, and a pullout couch bed. After a day of fun in Lava escape the hustle and bustle of town to a beautiful country side with mountain views. Just a 10 minute drive away. Our 1 bedroom (including the loft) 1 bath cabin is a perfect escape! Nestled in the friendly rural town of Bancroft, Idaho, this custom-built cabin is the perfect home base for your Southeast Idaho adventure. Whether you’re soaking in the hot pools, hiking, fishing, or simply enjoying the mountain views, you’ll love coming back to relax in the peaceful countryside. This cabin is one of two vacation rentals located on the property. Each rental has its own private home, entrance, and parking area. However, the outdoor courtyard is shared between both properties. Shared amenities include: 🔥 Large fire pit with Adirondack chairs 🌿 Multiple hammocks 🏡 Quonset gathering area with a BBQ These shared spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are intended to be enjoyed by guests staying in both rentals. If you’re looking for complete seclusion or exclusive use of the outdoor amenities you will have to rent both units. Traveling with a larger group? Ask about reserving both the cabin and the farmhouse to enjoy the entire property together! The space This comfortable cabin sleeps up to five guests and includes: One private bedroom with a queen bed Loft with a queen bed Pull-out sofa bed in the living room The cabin offers beautiful mountain views and all the comforts of home after a day of exploring Lava Hot Springs and Southeast Idaho. While the courtyard is shared, the cabin also features its own private front porch with a cozy gas fire table, making it the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or relax under the stars with a little extra privacy. If you’d like to stretch your legs, a quiet country road just steps from the cabin leads toward the nearby foothills, making for a peaceful walk with beautiful scenery. For guest safety, the cabin has motion-activated lighting and an exterior security camera monitoring the front entrance only. Guest access Guests will receive detailed self-check-in instructions prior to arrival. Other things to note The cabin is located in the small rural town of Bancroft, Idaho, a community of approximately 400 residents. While you’ll enjoy a peaceful country atmosphere, this is not an isolated cabin. There are neighboring homes nearby, and the property includes a second vacation rental with shared outdoor amenities. Bancroft is also a Union Pacific railroad town. Trains travel through the outskirts of town and can occasionally be heard from the property. Many guests enjoy the charm of small-town railroad life, but light sleepers may wish to bring earplugs. Each rental has its own private home, entrance, parking, and private porch with a gas fire table, while the courtyard, fire pit, hammocks, and Quonset gathering area are shared between both properties. Property also has a motion sensor with light and Camera for security purposes. Whether you’re soaking in the hot pools, floating the Portneuf River, hiking, fishing, riding ATVs, or simply enjoying the beautiful scenery, you’ll love coming back to relax on your private porch or gather around the shared fire pit under Idaho’s incredible night sky.
