Looking for a getaway by Lake Geneva, in Lavaux, a UNESCO World Heritage region, close to Montreux, Vevey, Lausanne? Stay in this beautiful new apartment located in a wing of a large family house, formerly a winegrower's house, and lime mill before that. Exceptional location by Lake Geneva, beaches nearby. Beauty and rejuvenation. The space 100 m2, 4 m high at the top, a beautiful space to relax and dream... A bedroom with a king size bed that closes with a door, another bedroom with a queen size bed located in a space away from the main room, 2 bathrooms, a veranda to enjoy the view in all weather. Looking forward to welcoming you ;-) Guest access The price includes the tourist tax, and you will receive the MONTREUX RIVIERA CARD which gives you access to public transport in the region for free, as well as many discounts: 50% Chaplin's world, Château de Chillon, Alimentarium, Aquaparc, Funplanet, Cinémas Rex, etc. You will be able to find parking spaces on the street, duration 5 hours with the disc, and some unlimited on weekends and holidays. The Gonelles stop of bus 211 is a 5-10 minute walk, the St-Saphorin train stop is a 20 minute walk along the lake, and Vevey Station is about a 30 minute walk. Vevey station is 5 minutes by taxi from the apartment. There is an excellent taxi service in Vevey and very good connections from Vevey train station by train in the directions of Montreux, Lausanne, Geneva, Geneva-Airport, Bern... There are no shops in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. In the apartment, there is a room reserved for sound therapy. Possibility of a treatment if interested, to be arranged depending on availability. Other things to note The French windows on the south facade are quite fragile; handle with care. If you want to swim in the lake, beware of the mussels, which are very sharp; swim shoes can be useful. There is sometimes a polesport bar in the apartment, which my daughter uses outside of the rentals to train for the Swiss championships. The place is not well suited for children, great staircase, danger due to the proximity to the lake, a high wall overlooking rocks (risk of falling).
