There is a utility room with sink, fridge and washing machine. The kitchen has a contemporary wood burner and bench seating for the whole family. The French doors open onto the garden. The charming sitting room boasts original beams and an Inglenook fireplace with a wonderfully warm log burner. Off the sitting room is the first bedroom, which also has a log burner and patio doors opening out onto the garden. The ground floor bedroom also offers a ensuite bathroom WC. Gentile stairs rising to the first floor landing leading to the master bedroom with an en suite shower room. The landing has a beach seat and then off to a further room with 2 single beds. Please note both bathrooms are ensuite. Outside, you will find private well kept gardens wrapping around the property with lawns, flower borders and patio. There is parking for 2 cars on the slate driveway directly in front of the garage. Guest access Guest have use of the entire property except the garage. Other things to note DUNSMORE occupies a hilltop position in the Chiltern Hills about 2 miles south of Wendover, accessed by two steep, single-track hillside lanes. Much of the surrounding land is owned by the National Trust and is heavily wooded. Central features of the village are the village pond, the village hall and the Church of the Resurrection. Dunsmore is close by to Chequers; the country retreat for the serving Prime Minister & the local Second Boer memorial on Coombe Hill. The memorial stands. There are many good, rural walks nearby. Please note there is parking for 2 cars only on the driveway. The village is very small so parking is an issue. Please note bathrooms/WC are both ensuite.
