Tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac in a secluded corner of Tamborine Mountain at Eagle Heights, our cozy pole home offers a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. Although it’s located at the bottom of a steep hill, the serene setting more than makes up for the climb, providing you with the ultimate retreat. Our three-bedroom cottage is intimate yet uncluttered, designed for comfort and relaxation. Its a romantic setting, timber floors, cosy fireplaces in and out create a special place. The cottage features a private heated spa perfect for taking in the rainforest view and relaxing. Please note, due to the stairs leading to the front door, the home is not wheelchair accessible. The master bedroom features a luxurious king bed, while the second bedroom offers a queen bed, and the third bedroom includes a double bed and a desk—ideal for remote work. The cottage has one bathroom and a separate toilet for added convenience. Our home is fully equipped for sustainable living. Powered by solar energy with a battery backup, the house is completely off the grid on sunny days, reflecting our commitment to environmental responsibility. We also rely on a water tank, so we kindly ask guests to be mindful of water usage, especially during dry spells. Rest assured, the water is filtered and treated with UV light for your safety. The water is some of the best you will drink. The fully equipped kitchen inside is perfect for preparing meals, but the true highlight is the expansive outdoor deck. Overlooking the breathtaking rainforest and gorge, this space includes an outdoor kitchen, a spa, and comfortable couches around the outdoor wood burning fireplace —perfect for lounging while soaking in the spectacular rain forest views. We’re just 1.8 km from the Eagle Heights pub, known for its stunning coastal views, and only 3 km from the popular Gallery Walk. There is a double car port for parking two cars whilst staying, so out of the sun and weather. Other things to note We provide a picnic blanket and hamper for you to fill with your own goodies and bubbles to create that special romantic day trip. We can offer ideas for local places of interest such as wineries, restaurants, walking trails to enjoy during your stay. It can get quite chilly up here even in summer, so we highly recommend that you bring a set of warm clothes, though we do provide a couple of blankets.
