Welcome to our home, an old barn recently transformed into a spacious and bright loft. Hoffen is a small Alsatian village, where you can still discover many traditional half-timbered houses, especially on our street. We are 35 minutes from Strasbourg and 15 minutes from the German border. We are also close to Hunspach, voted favorite village of the French in 2020 (5 min), the Chemin des Cimes (10 min), Europa Park (50 min)... The space On the ground floor: - A large entrance - A 15 m2 bedroom with a double bed - A small 8 m2 bedroom with 2 single beds - Bathroom with toilet, walk-in shower and small laundry area. Upstairs, a large living space: - a piano area - a living room with two sofa beds: for these 3 additional beds, it is unfortunately not possible to darken the room. Also, if you are coming in a large group (more than 4 people) please note that there is only one large living room upstairs. - a reading area with books available for all ages as well as documents on the region + board games - a "dining room" area - a wood-burning stove - a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, induction stove, oven, fridge) - a large terrace Guest access In-person welcome or secure key box Other things to note We don't provide sheets, except on request a few days before your arrival and with a surcharge. Here are our rates, if needed: - 5 euros / single bed - 10 euros/double bed - 3 euros/person for bath linen (one large and one small bath towel + one washcloth) Please pay us on-site in cash. If you want to bring your own sheets, here are the bed dimensions: - double bedroom: 190 X 140 - 2 single beds: 90 X 190 - sofa 1: 90 X 190 - sofa 2: 200 x 80 for one person or 2 mattresses of the same size for a double bed Bedding: - 65 X 65 pillowcase - one person duvet: 140 X 200 - two-person duvet: 220 X 240 Our duvets and pillowcases are brand new and of high quality (Linvosges brand). Child equipment available (upon request): - baby bed - high chair - a bathtub - a deckchair - potty - Toys Bathroom: - hair dryer, - shampoo and shower gel - toilet paper (we provide a roll for your arrival, plan for the rest of your stay) Kitchen equipment: - kettle, - filter coffee machine and a Senseo - toaster, - mixer - blender On request: - fondue machine - raclette machine - waffle maker - charcoal barbecue We provide: - basic condiments: salt, pepper, oil, vinegar and various spices (curry, coriander, cumin, paprika, herbs of Provence, cinnamon...) - wood to make a fire - soap - dishwashing liquid and dishwasher tablets
