The space Helford Cottage Accessibility Guide · Entrance into Tregowris Court o Access to Tregowris Court is via a tight 90 degree turn off a single carriageway / lane and limited by two granite pillars 13’ apart. o Parking space for Helford is clearly marked with the slate sign on the garden wall and is room enough for 1 no: vehicle with a maximum size of a Transit Van or Land Rover. 10’. X 14’ Helford Garden o Access to Helford garden is up a step that is 9” high and through the wooden gate 2’ 10” wide. o The garden path which is paving slabs is 27’ x 2’ o There is a small step up of 3 ½ “ into the porch area which has a 3’ radius. Helford Cottage o Access into the cottage is through the stable door at 2’ 5” wide and there is a threshold which is 6” high by 6” deep with 1” drop into the property. Lounge o Lounge kitchen area is 16’ by 10’ and is dual aspect. The south facing window overlooking the garden is 6’x 2’ and the sill height is 9”. o The fuses box’s are located to the right of the main entrance on entry and are mounted at 6’. o The two-seater sofa cushion seat area is 3’ 8” x 2’ and has a cushion height of 1’ 6”. o The single chair cushion seat area is 1’ 10” x 2’ and has a cushion height of 1’ 6”. o The dining table is 2’ 10”x 2’ 10” with a height of 2’ 6”. (There is also a cafetière available if you prefer). No need to worry about washing up, Helford Cottage has a dishwasher and we have provided one dishwasher/rinse aid tablet per number of days of your stay, plus 1. If you need to get some washing done, Helford Cottage has a washing & tumble drier. Laundry basket and pegs are in the spare room and there is a clothes line (shared) across in the main garden. We have provided 1no: an ‘all in one’ laundry tab for every two days of your stay. All bedding and towels are provided.
