Cosy Belper room with fun loft bed and en-suite

Our historic cottage was once a mill with its own waterwheel. It is located walking distance from the delightful market town centre of Belper and the village of Holbrook, with a great selection of cafes & pubs. The room we offer has a small en-suite. It’s at the very top of the house with views of fields - a cosy space with a built-in oak beam king-sized loft bed. We are a fun, creative, and at times gently chaotic household, with a kind and friendly dog and two well-behaved teenagers. The space Our 200-year-old home forms a key part of Belper’s historical past, as a mill which ground bones for local agriculture. Your room at the very top of the semi-detached house is accessed though the old conservatory then through the kitchen and livingroom, and up two flights of stairs. Our home is not wheelchair friendly, and the old character of the building means that getting to and from your room (and in and out of the bespoke oak loft bed) requires a certain level of physical effort. Guest access You have your very own small en-suite with shower. If I am around I will be very happy to make you a cup of tea, though access to the kitchen and living room is not included. Other things to note We are a creative and welcoming household. We have various interesting projects on the go at any given time such that our home, at times, exudes an air of gentle chaos. Fear not! This does not mean that we do not deeply believe in cleanliness and organisation!
