Relax in this calm, stylish space that hints towards its MCM roots and the area's history. Ranch-style, with two ultra-comfy hybrid king beds and a queen, a spacious kitchen, accessibility and visual acuity features, and a dash of quirk and humor. We hope you will be smiling as soon as you walk in. We use all natural fiber bedding materials and avoid harsh chemicals or fragrances. The fenced yard is great for pets and watching wildlife beyond, with a lovely park area just a block away as well. The space Single story house nestled in a quiet established neighborhood, and a likely bunny warren encircling nearly half the property...hence why we named it "Bunnydom." This house is simplified in many ways to include no dishwasher, please keep that in mind before deciding to book. Bunnydom is not meant to be "the cheapest place" to lay one's head, but a place we personally, and carefully, brought back from years of neglect and then abandonment and designed to be a stylish stay that is as mobility friendly as possible, with more improvements in outside access to come later. There are stairs to the front and side doors, but a portable ramp for wheelchair access is available. Additional amenities: The full bath includes a solar tube for daylight lighting (it turns off when the sun does, yes, we have to be that specific:) and a heated towel rack. There is a gas insert fireplace available to be used between 01 November - 31 March. The 2nd King bedroom has a wall mounted smart television, covered by a painting when not in use. We picked this bedroom as the farthest from the living room and least likely to reverberate noise down the hall if parents want to have the kids watch a movie on their own. Additional accessibility features: FLOORING: hard flooring throughout SWITCHES: all but one have been lowered to ADA height standards KITCHEN: Multi use Ninja Coffee pot to use for cold brew, pods, 14 cup-coffee pot (or 1 cup, half pot or full pot). Coffee press available as well. Sink is roll under ADA compliant at 34" counter height, the kitchen "island" also rolls so can be used as a prep area (also can fill a pot at the sink, put it on the rolling island to roll over to the stove:), the fridge is freezer on bottom, the stove is very simple gas stove, but an electric portable cook top is stored in the cabinets for use as well. HALLWAY : 32" wide FULL BATH: 36" door (to make it easier when coming from an angle along the hall), grab bars, very low threshold shower entrance, vanity is one inch below full ADA roll under compliance height. BEDROOMS: The primary bedroom (king canopy bed) and the hall bedroom (queen bed) both have 32" doors. The primary bedroom is also quite spacious around the bed and includes a rolling clothing rack to make packing and unpacking easier. Guest access Guests are welcome to the main floor, carport, side patio, and fenced yard. The basement houses the mechanicals and the sump pump and is locked, not to be accessed by guests. The attic, a crawl height space, is also not for guest use or entry (yes, we, unfortunately, have to be that specific:). Guests may use the yard and carport. The RV trailer to the right of the driveway is not for guest use. Other things to note You can get to downtown Toledo in about 5 minutes, there is a really nice metro park within Oregon, Lake Erie and Maumee Bay State Park are within 10 minutes drive, there is a drive in movie theatre open in the summer. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Our neighbors are super and we ask that our guests be as respectful of them as they will be of the house.
