Our peaceful family getaway is set alongside a small lake in the mountain town of Summit, NY located in the foothills of the Northern Catskills. The space This recently renovated 1000+ sq ft lakefront home on Bear Gulch is the perfect place to make memories. Enjoy some early morning fishing, have breakfast on the new screened-in back porch, take an afternoon swim, venture out in the pedal boat or kayaks, nap in the hammock, have a barbeque on the patio, and roast s'mores in the firepit. Located just 35 miles from Cooperstown where you can visit the Baseball Hall of Fame, Dreams Park, the Farmer's Museum, the Fenimore Art Museum, and the Glimmerglass Opera House. Other local attractions include Howe Caverns and Secret Caverns (17 miles), the Iroquois Museum (16 miles) and Beekman 1802 in scenic Sharon Springs (22 miles). A convenient place to stay if you’re visiting SUNY Cobleskill (9 miles). Head to a nearby ski resort for a day of skiing at Plattekill (35 miles), Windham (40 miles) or Hunter (45 miles).
