Walnut Lodge

This is a beach cottage . It is sweet, and rustic; but does not have heat. Keep this in mind when booking in autumn. The bathroom has a clawfoot tub; the shower is outside. If you are over 6' tall, you'll have to watch your head in some of the doorways. It is 4 houses from the beach (Long Island Sound - sandy beach, no waves). I'm right next door and we have a washer and dryer in our basement, which is accessible from outside, for long term guests. The space Everything you need is included: Bed linens, blankets, towels dishes, silverware, glasses, pots and pans. Cottage has a gas grill and you are welcome to use our kayaks, two singles and a double, that are stored next to the cottage. ( at your own risk). We include life jackets. Gorgeous sandy beach 5 houses down, and easy access for launching kayaks. Other things to note This is not a place for parties. Houses are close to each other. We ask for quiet after 10 pm.
