The space Waterfront Perks & Guest Amenities: 🛶🔥 Enjoy ultimate lakefront living with two separate houses! Relax on the large private dock, fully equipped with shaded dining tables, extra chairs, and a zero-gravity chaise loungers. Outdoor Extras: After sunset, gather around the firepit with classic Adirondack chairs under twinkling overhead string lights. Take out our 2 complimentary kayaks or use the float mats! (Note: the pontoon boat is not available for use) Guest access Welcome to your own private lakeside compound! During your stay, you will have exclusive, private access to both independent houses, the spacious lakefront decks, and the large private dock. You are welcome to fully enjoy the lake lifestyle with our complimentary amenities, including the two kayaks, paddles, and water float mats. To help us keep this paradise pristine and secure against sudden wind or weather, we kindly ask that all guests return the water float mats back to the boat (or exactly where you found them) immediately after use. Additionally, please ensure the kayaks are securely tied up on the dock and that the paddles are stored safely inside the boat when not in use. Other things to note Embracing Lake Life: 🌲🦌 Please keep in mind that this is a true lakeside retreat surrounded by nature, not a city home. While the interiors are professionally cleaned after every single guest—with 100% of the linens, duvet covers, blankets, and towels freshly laundered—the outdoor elements are part of the experience. The lake breeze will naturally blow leaves, pollen, or ashes onto the porches and ledges, and you might spot a friendly cricket or spider outside. However, if you're lucky, you'll also catch glimpses of deer roaming the grounds and otters playing on the dock! Dock Access & Terrain: The lake and dock are accessible via a walkway and an abundance of steps. It provides a beautiful view, but please be prepared: it is quite a hike coming back up to the houses! Additionally, when the TVA/lake management lowers the water levels, the shoreline changes and you may need to walk across some exposed rocks to reach the dock walkway. We work incredibly hard to adjust and secure the walkway as close to the stairs as possible for your safety. To keep things safe and stable, our dock maintenance professional may briefly stop by during water level transitions to adjust and secure the floating dock structures. A Cherished Family Vacation Home: 🍳❤️ Because this is our family’s personal vacation retreat and not just a standard rental, you will find it incredibly well-equipped! As someone who loves to cook, I have fully stocked the kitchen with an abundance of high-quality supplies, spices, condiments and gadgets that go way beyond the typical Airbnb setup. You will also notice the home is beautifully decorated with our curated personal items and treasures. We love sharing our happy place with you, but we kindly ask that these items not be broken or moved around. If you are traveling with little kids and are worried about something being in the way, you are absolutely welcome to safely store it away during your stay—we just ask that you kindly place it back exactly where you found it before checking out.
