Walnut Farm is a cluster of beautifully renovated farm buildings set in stunning Cotswold countryside. Situated near the peaceful hamlet of Kingscote, yet only a stones throw away from beautiful towns, such as Nailsworth and Tetbury and a wonderful range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The properties have been lovingly re-designed to create a spacious and comfortable retreat, to gather with friends or family. Vintage and antique furnishings combine to make these spaces feel unique. The space This idyllic, country home is suitable for groups of up to 13 people wanting to get together, relax, unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. There is immediate access to wonderful walking and cycling routes, right from the doorstep. The accommodations are arranged as follows: Linden House: A large four bedroom farmhouse, sleeping up to nine people in five beds. Sunlight floods into both spacious living areas through the two large, south-facing, bi-fold doors which overlook the generous decking area and private terrace. There is a stone fireplace with wood-burning stove, wooden beams and polished oak floorboards. Comfortable sofas create a warm and luxurious space to gather. A spacious, open-plan kitchen and dining area, leads onto the main sitting room. The property boasts fantastic, far-reaching views of the surrounding countryside. Every attention has been given to create a luxurious and comfortable stay. The Hayloft: A luxurious, one-bedroomed cottage with exposed beams, wood burning stove and oak floorboards. This restored farm building includes a spacious, living and dining area, fully equipped kitchen, dressing room and shower room with a super-king-size bed on a mezzanine floor. The Garden Room: This accommodation sits adjacent to The Hayloft and to the rear of Linden House. It has it’s own separate, private entrance and hallway complete with space for shoes and coats and an open wardrobe area for hanging clothes. This leads to a stylish and well designed, ground-floor, double bedroom with on-demand LG TV and sideboard with tea and coffee making facilities. The Hayloft and The Garden Room both have a doorway leading out onto the private courtyard-garden with patio-terrace and a covered Mediterranean-style veranda, which are surrounded by verdant planting and a lily pond. Guest access Guests have full and exclusive access to Linden House, The Hayloft and The Garden Room. There is private parking available for up to six vehicles next to the property. Extra parking is also available if needed, in our field. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: We do not take bookings for noisy parties such as Stag and Hen nights. Walnut Farm is in a rural area with only a couple of neighbouring properties. It is intended to be enjoyed as a peaceful retreat. Please respect the locality and kindly keep noise to a minimum, especially when returning in the evenings. 👶 CHILDREN: Please be advised that The Hayloft and The Garden Room are not suitable for accommodating children due safety concerns, as there is a steep spiral staircase and a pond. Therefore children should be accommodated at Linden House, however there are no stair gates at the property. Linden House is accessed by vehicle along it’s own single track driveway and then on foot, via the parking area, up a long flight of steps. All three properties are next door to each other, with close access to one another. Linden House can also be accessed via the entrance for The Hayloft and Garden Room. Please take extreme care when leaving the driveway of the property, as visibility is restricted. There is a septic tank at the property and guests are kindly asked not to flush anything other than toilet paper, i.e. strictly no sanitary products, wipes, (even biodegradable ones), cotton wool, cotton buds, etc. The farmhouse is an old property and as such has 'character'. Please expect creaky floorboards and wonky walls!
