Description
Stable cottage is a small self contained annexe which sleeps 2. We are situated on a quiet country lane approx 2 miles from Wortley village (Sheffield) & close (approx half a mile) to Wharncliffe woods & miles of picturesque woodland walks/ mountain bike trails & the trans Pennine trail. 2 single beds, small wardrobe, sofa, t.v, bathroom (shower) & kitchen. Parking is just outside on the driveway next to our house. Small decked seating area outside. The space Situated on a quiet country lane, Stable cottage is a separate, self contained annexe of our home. Wortley village @2 miles away, Wortley Hall, McGilverays Wortley Arms, Wortley men’s club, The Countess Tea Rooms Farm shop/bakery and village store situated here, also Wortley Wagyu is just off the TPT. High Green/Chapeltown @1.5 miles in the other direction where there are a variety of shops, restaurants and takeaways. The Red Lion at Grenoside which serves food is also a short drive away. We provide tea, coffee, sugar also single serving long life milk for tea & coffee. Guest access Small garden/decked seating area outside the cottage. Other things to note 2 wall heaters, heated towel rail (& towels) & hot water. Sorry no pets as we have our own 2 dogs, cats & horses on the property. Strictly maximum of 2 guests only. Not suitable for small children. The gateway is not that wide and the driveway is on a slight bend, not suitable for large vans. Also please note it’s Wortley village nr Sheffield & Barnsley not the Wortley which is a suburb of Leeds. We live in the main house and are usually around and there to greet you. Please also note there are no public transport links for 2 miles.
