The village has good access, and is a 10-minute drive from the motorway. The area is a cyclist's paradise and perfect for long walks and hikes. 30-minute drive to Italy, 40-minute drive to the nearest beach. The adjoining region of Karst is known for its cured meats and underground caves. A one-hour drive from the capital, Ljubljana, and a two-hour drive from the Alps and Croatia – you could ski and swim in the sea all in one day. Nearest airport is Ronchi, Trieste (45 mins) but Ljubljana airport is also not far (1 hour). Gorizia has two well-connected train stations, but the best way to get around would be by car.
