Other things to note Less than half a mile away is the entrance to the beautiful Saguaro National Park East, with miles of hiking trails and excellent birdwatching opportunities. Casual and fine dining, shopping, and a movie theater are just minutes from the Casita. The average drive time to the University of Arizona, downtown Tucson, and Tucson International Airport is about 30 minutes, depending on traffic, so please plan accordingly. On Fridays and Saturdays, local farmers markets are nearby, perfect for fresh produce and unique local finds.
