Welcome to Auguste

The room has been furnished in the old stableman's house above the castle stables. We designed the layout of it so that it really feels like the countryside, with a small wood-burning stove, antique furniture here and there and access to a large part of the park and its animals. In summer it is possible to swim in the pond. For €12 per person, we offer a breakfast with good products from the garden and local producers (Curieuseneus). The space The accommodation has been designed to make you feel like you are in a warm break… After a long winter walk you can relax in a hot bath, by the fire… In summer, a picnic basket is at your disposal… if you wish you can organize a small aperitif and/or dinner by the pond. There is enough to make a small fire and cook some meat. Dogs are welcome provided, of course, that they do not climb on the bed… They will be happy to walk without a leash in a fenced area! Guest access The accommodation is private and the parking is in the courtyard, so on the property. Drinks and snacks are available. Prices are displayed and we trust you regarding payment. These are mostly regional products. We are located 15 km from Brussels and 30 km from Ghent, on the E40. The train station is a 40-minute walk away. There are lovely walks or bike rides in the area. During your stay If there are any problems, we live on the property. And you'll have our phone number.
