Relaxing cosy place in Gorron

Walk to popular shops, bars and restaurants from this charming place to stay. Quietly situated with a park close by, there is car parking just across the street. An old stone house with beams and lots of character, you will have your own shower room and separate w.c. just next door to the south facing bedroom overlooking gardens. The rental price includes continental breakfast served downstairs in the dining room. The space Formerly the home of leather workers, this is an old stone village house in a quiet street with the river close by. The front door is low and you step down into my kitchen and then go through to more rooms looking over the garden at the back. There are log fires throughout. Guests are welcome to eat a complementary continental breakfast downstairs in the house, or on the terrace in warmer weather. Guest access No struggling with lockboxes and codes! I live on the premises and will be here to greet you and to say goodbye at the end of your stay. Guest have their own key for late night returns! During your stay I'm here to help if needed. I have lived in this lovely area for more than 10 years so am happy to help you plan visits, make recommendations for restaurants and bars( there are a variety of good ones really close by) and guests are welcome to call/ text me before and during their stay. I speak English and French. Useful if you need help making reservations etc! If you would enjoy a guided tour of this fascinating old town with more than 1000 years of history, I regularly run 'Getting to know Gorron walks'. Available to guests for a small fee. Other things to note This is also home to two, extremely friendly, gentle dogs, Ruby, the elderly Cavalier King Charles spaniel and Dennis., my Griffon Vendéen. My very own Lady and her Tramp!
