The Barn House is located five minutes from Bethel Arts Center and is in the heart of the Castskils located in Smallwood, NY. Smalllwood is a quaint mountain community and a 15-minute walk from Mountain Lake, the mini falls, a dog park and gorgeous hiking trails, skiing and tubing in the Winter as swimming in Bethel Lake Superior. Smallwood is roughly an hour and forty five minutes from NYC and is the perfect location to unwind and disconnect. The space The Barn House was built in the 1980’s and features a spacious living room and dining with huge windows and sky lights that allow for tons of sun light and tree gazing. Home has a working fireplace, board games, exercise equipment (yoga mat, bands and weights) and books for kids and adults alike. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and an en suite half bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has a king bed and a sitting area, perfect for remote work or cozying up with a book. All spaces have individually controlled electric heat. The Barn House has a fully stocked kitchen complete sourced, oils, baking and roasting pans and a sodastream! There are quaint decks in the front and back yards with an outdoor dining table, umbrella and BBQ grill and a meditation area. Guest access Within a 15-20 minute walk is gorgeous Mountain Lake, two miles in length, perfect for a morning walk. Also within walking distance are the mini falls, the perfect place to take a dip and many beautiful hikes. Other things to note **Pet friendly but ask dogs do not sleep in beds or lay on couches**
