We are located strategically in Cerro Alegre, where our house was declared a World Heritage Site. Private room of 215 ft2 with 2 single beds, one bed is located in the lower part of the room and the other in a small loft within it. It has a private bathroom, a large window overlooking the main street, 32" TV, nightstand, closet, individual table, chairs, safe box and heater. The space In Maki you will find everything you need to make your experience fun, safe, comfortable and with the company of a professional staff. In our heritage house, more than 130 years old and lovingly restored, you will find great accommodations to use alone, with your partner, friends, as a group or to even make new friends. We offer an excellent BREAKFAST SERVICE for an extra per person per breakfast, with several affordable options so you can choose the one that best suits your budget. They are served every day between 08:45 am and 10:30 am on our top floor with a beautiful view of the hills of Valparaiso. All our breakfasts include freshly ground coffee beans prepared with great care, a wide variety of teas and infusions. Depending on the type of breakfast you choose, they may include: toasted ham and cheese sandwich, eggs prepared as you like, cereals, freshly prepared natural juice with only fruits, mix of seeds and/or yogurt. We have a wide variety of rooms, there are private, shared, single, double, twin, triple, quadruple, for large groups, for small groups, with private or shared bathroom, for girls only, etc. In all our options we guarantee an excellent value for money. Prices vary according to the characteristics and amenities of each room. We also have many common spaces that are shared with other guests where you can cook, rest, read, sunbathe, enjoy a delicious local beer or good wine and share with other travelers who are passing through. We are in the touristic heart of the city, in an excellent location on Cerro Alegre, just in front of Cerro Concepción, a few minutes’ walk from the main attractions of Valpo, museums, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. You will also find very close supermarkets, stores, drugstores, service stations, the metro and the bus stop for public transport is less than 100 meters away. Guest access You will be able to use all the common spaces considering the allowed schedule of use and the basic rules for an excellent coexistence with the other guests. We have a terrace and a rooftop with a beautiful view of the classic postcard of the Valpo hills; there is a shared kitchen, small but functional and fully equipped to make a delicious meal; spaces to be able to work with a very good WiFi (ideal if you have to work) and several spaces to enjoy. Other things to note MINORS: Minors under the age of 18 are welcome at Maki Hostels. For their safety, however, they must follow certain rules: First, they can only stay if they are traveling with their parents or a legal guardian. If they are traveling with a legal guardian, they must present a notarized permission slip. Additionally, they can only book private rooms. They cannot stay in shared dormitories. When checking in, the parent or legal guardian must present a document proving their relationship to the minor. Details about the stay: Children up to four years old can stay for free as long as they share a bed with their parents. Minors aged 5 and older must pay for their stay. Everyone, including minors, must present valid photo identification when checking in. If these rules are not followed, we will unfortunately have to cancel the reservation without refund. This applies even if you have already checked in online. PETS: We clarify that only dogs are accepted as pets and only 1 can stay per private room. If you come with your dog, let us know beforehand as we have ideal rooms for you to stay with your pet. It has an additional cost of $5,000 per day per dog. SMOKING AREAS: We have two exclusive spaces for smoking our terrace and rooftop. Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms or in the balconies.
