Cosy Glamping in Swedish forest with breakfast

Escape to our charming glamping tent nestled in the heart of Sweden's pristine forest, at the edge of the community and land centered Nettle Farm. This unique retreat offers a perfect blend of comfort and wilderness, ideal for nature lovers and those seeking a serene getaway. Our glamping tent is designed for simplicity and coziness. With comfortable bedding, tasteful décor as well as rustic charm, it provides the perfect setting to disconnect, recharge and unwind. Breakfast is included! The space Here on the Nettle Farm, we try to live in the right relationship with the land and in the spirit of community. The two glamping spaces we offer are located at the far end of farm, at the edge of the beautiful and mystical Swedish forest, with privacy to enjoy the pristine nature experience as well as - if you choose to - become part of our small community of hosts and volunteers that co-create this space in the summer. That means that in addition to the comfortable and luxurious tent with private patio, seating area and fire place, you also have a possibility to enjoy shared community house with fully equipped kitchen, toilet and shower indoors. And get your social side happy too! Oh and did we mention that breakfast is included in the price? We will serve you a fancy oat meal with seeds, yoghurt and fresh wild blueberries. Coffee of course and a smoothie made with wild greens from the garden (Nettles, Spinach, Gout Weed) and seasonal fruit. We've heard a few times that the porridge we serve at the Nettles Farm is the best they've ever had! In close proximity to the tents you will find a dry compost toilet with a small washing area. And if you are into having a full Scandinavian experience with a hot fire stove sauna in the evening and cold shower from our own crystal clear deep water well, it is available for you at an extra cost here on the land. You are also welcome to access the community space with a cosy cabin like living room, fully equipped kitchen to prepare your meals, several outside seating and lounging areas, grill and more. We are open to share our spaces, done in respect and good spirit. We offer the communal element as an option, but we always value your privacy and your intentions for the stay. Other things to note You can borrow bicycles for your local exploration! They are Swedish vintage, but work well and are fun to ride. The lake with swimming possibility is 5min bike ride downhill or 15min beautiful stroll through the forest road. Plenty of forest trails in all directions, and a nearest village has a supermarket and a train station - 10min car drive away. There is no electricity in the tents to keep it simple and wild, but plenty of cozy lighting and you are always welcome to charge your devices at the community house if needed. Since we live in the forest, mosquitos and other flying creatures are included ( less or more depending on the weather conditions), so make sure to pack appropriately. In summer months on good days, you will find a Swedish Summer Cafe open 10min walk away serving traditional Swedish FIKA in their back yard - coffee and cake. And that is definitely not to be missed! Oh and if you are yoga lover, there is possibility to book private yoga and breathwork class during your stay at an extra cost. We love this land and this space, it is our home, and that is why we do not accommodate for boozy parties to help maintain peace and harmony for all who live and who come visit here.
