Sycamore Shores is a private, lakefront (75 acre calm water lake), home located near Monteagle and Sewanee. It's nestled among the trees with an oversized, covered deck to take in the amazing views of the lake. Whether you’re coming to take the kayaks out or fish on the lake, hike to nearby waterfalls, enjoy a hot tub under the stars, zip line, or to enjoy a concert at the Caverns (ONLY 15 MINS AWAY!), Sycamore Shores is the perfect getaway! Stay one night or a week, you'll love your time here! The space Sycamore Shores is a tiny home located in phase three of The Retreat at Water’s Edge community, which is still under construction. Please understand that while Sycamore Shores is complete and production-free, construction is still ongoing in the area. Home sleeps 8 in beds: ✔PRIMARY BEDROOM: queen bed w/ ensuite ✔GUEST BEDROOM: queen bed ✔LOFT: (2) twin bunk beds The home has a fully equipped kitchen, (2) full bathrooms with showers/tubs, and a full-size washer and dryer. Other features include: ✔ Hot tub (seats 7) ✔(4) Kayaks (2 – adult | 2 – children) with life jackets available ✔ Firepit area with Adirondack chairs (firewood supplied) ✔ Gas & Charcoal Grill (propane supplied) ✔ EV charger (level 2) ✔ Coffee (Keurig Single & Drip Coffee Maker) & Tea (Electric Tea Kettle) ✔ 2 smart TVs (1 in living room and 1 on deck) ✔ Free WiFi ✔ Complimentary shampoo/conditioner/soaps ✔Highchair ✔ Large deck with dining table for 8 and conversational seating areas Guest access The entire home is available to guests. Other things to note HOT TUB DISCLAIMER FOR SYCAMORE SHORES: Please keep in mind that hot tubs are a very dynamic appliance. When you check-in, your hot tub has been cleaned. To keep the hot tub enjoyable for every guest, please shower and rinse off any lotion, sunscreen, or oils before getting in — and especially rinse off after swimming in the lake, as lake water, sediment, and residue can cloud and stain the hot tub just as much as sunscreen or lotion. If the hot tub is left excessively dirty for any reason — including but not limited to tanning products, oils, cosmetics, lake water/residue, or other debris — a deep clean is required before the next guest can use it. This process can take up to two hours of additional crew time. A flat $225 cleaning fee will be charged to cover this extra service, regardless of the cause of the soiling. Please note: this fee is charged to us directly by our cleaning crew and is simply passed through. Please also pay special attention to the SAFETY RULES below and located beside the hot tub.  1. Maximum safe spa temperature is 102° or less. Temperatures above this can lead to heatstroke, which can be dangerous and even fatal.  2. Do not use spa if pregnant or hypertensive (high blood pressure). 3. Do not use spa if water looks poor, smells bad, or without pump running 4. Notify hosts of any equipment failure or water problems. 5. Use at your own risk. Tenant agrees to hold the owner harmless for any injuries and is responsible for any damage to equipment, spa cover, or spa surfaces. 6. Keep lid covered and floater in tub when hot tub is not in use. 7. Keep water level above jets. Not doing so can cause the motor to burn up. If you fail to maintain proper hot tub etiquette during your stay, Sycamore Shores hosts will not be held responsible for injuries, skin irritations, or infections due to hot tub misuse. At no time will the hosts be responsible for injuries from hot tubs which have been used by children. If you are unable to follow the rules and guidelines above, there will be a $150 charge for improper use.  We will do our best to maintain the spa & for it to be available for our guests to use during their stay, but we cannot control when repairs need to be made or maintenance upkeep requires us to not allow guests to use it during their stay.
